Nova Poshta has appointed a local top manager to the position of CEO for the first time.
The company has said this in a statement, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The statement says that the company in Poland was headed by Jakub Karoń.
The appointment is part of the strategy to expand Nova Poshta's international presence in the European market.
Jakub Karoń is an experienced top manager in sales, operations management and business development.
In his career, he has managed teams in the field of logistics, transport and production, in particular, he held management positions at FF FRACHT (CEO) and Kulton Transport (COO).
He specializes in the development and implementation of company development strategies, sales and marketing management, as well as business process optimization.
He has significant experience in team building and developing partnerships in an international environment.
It is noted that Nova Poshta has been operating on the Polish market for almost three years - since October 2022.
Poland became the first country the company entered after the start of a full-scale invasion.
Today, this is the company's largest network in terms of the number of service points outside Ukraine: 50 branches in 31 cities, covering all 16 voivodeships of the country.
Thanks to partnerships with local logistics operators, the company's clients have access to 25,000 inPost ATMs.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in mid-July, Nova Poshta announced that the company's director, Oleksandr Bulba, is leaving his position after 10 years of work.
And in mid-August, the company announced that the director general (CEO) of NovaPay Andrii Kryvoshapko is completing his career in the NOVA group (Nova Poshta) and is leaving his position after nine years of work.
Nova Poshta is an operator in the express delivery market of postal items, established in 2001.
The owners of the company are Viacheslav Klymov and Volodymyr Popereshniuk.
