On August 22, 143 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest Axes were Pokrovsk (38 attacks), Lyman (25) and Novopavlivsk (19).
This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy launched one missile and 95 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, used one missile and dropped 174 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, the enemy carried out 5,197 shelling, including 73 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 5,417 kamikaze drones for strikes.
On August 22, 143 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded at the front.
Thus, in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk Axes over the past day, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 7 attacks by the invading forces.
The enemy also launched 14 air strikes here, using 28 guided aerial bombs, and carried out 240 shelling, two of which were from multiple rocket launchers.
In the South-Slobozhansk Axis, 8 attacks were repelled in the area of the settlements of Vovchansk, Ambarne and towards Kolodiazne.
In the Kupyansk Axis, 8 enemy attacks were repelled in the areas of Kindrashivka, Myrne, Stepova Novoselivka and Zahryzove.
In the Lyman Axis, 25 attacks were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Hrekivka, Zelena Dolyna, Kolodiazi, Torske and towards Yampil and Serebrianka.
In the Siversk Axis, 4 attacks were repelled in the areas of Hryhorivka, Vyimka and Pereizne.
In the Kramatorsk Axis, 5 clashes took place near Bila Hora and towards Stupochky.
In the Toretsk Axis, 9 attacks were repelled in the areas of Shcherbynivka, Toretsk, Poltavka and towards Stepanivka.
In the Pokrovsk Axis, the Defense Forces stopped 38 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Nykanorivka, Novoekonomichne, Myroliubivka, Rodynske, Bilytske, Sukhyi Yar, Chunyshyne, Zvirove, Udachne, Molodetske, Muravka and Dachne.
In the Novopavlivsk Axis, 19 attacks were repelled near the settlements of Zeleny Hai, Tovsty, Shevchenko, Voskresenka, Olhivske, Zaporizhske and Temyrivka.
In the Orikhiv Axis, one attack was repelled in the area of Kamyanske.
4 attacks were repelled in the Prydniprovsk Axis.
No combat clashes were recorded in the Huliaipole Axis.
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit 4 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, three artillery pieces, a control point and one other important enemy facility.
In total, the losses of the russian occupiers on August 22 amounted to 840 people.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on August 21, 157 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest Axes were Pokrovsk (43 attacks), Novopavlivsk (35) and Lyman (24).
