Al-Sheikh identifies next opponent for Oleksandr Usyk

The head of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia, Turki Al-Sheikh, said that he wants to organize a fight between Oleksandr Usyk and British prospect Moses Itauma. This is reported by Ring Magazine.

He confirmed this idea during a show in Riyadh, where Itauma sensationally knocked out Dillian Whyte in the first round. According to Al-Sheikh, the Usyk-Itauma fight should be the next big fight in the heavyweight division.

Moses Enriko Itauma is an English boxer of Slovak-Nigerian origin, who competes in the heavyweight division and has held the WBO Inter-Continental title since 2024. World youth champion (2022), three-time European youth champion, multiple English champion and winner of international tournaments. He made a bright debut in the professional ring, defeating a number of opponents ahead of schedule, including Dan Garber and Ilya Mezentsev, in the fight with which he won the intercontinental belt. In July 2024, at the O2 Arena in London, he confidently knocked out veteran Mariusz Wach. He currently ranks 29th in the BoxRec world ranking and is among the Top 10 British heavyweights.

As previously reported, a grand boxing show took place on July 19, 2025 at Wembley Stadium in London. In the main fight of the evening, Oleksandr Usyk became the absolute world heavyweight champion for the second time, knocking out Daniel Dubois in the fifth round.

Earlier, the World Boxing Organization (WBO) officially announced the start of negotiations on a mandatory fight for the heavyweight champion title between Oleksandr Usyk and Joseph Parker.
