Ukraine and Alaska - will never be in russia. Protests against putin's visit in Anchorage

On the eve of the meeting of US President Donald Trump and Kremlin leader vladimir putin, a large-scale rally in support of Ukraine and against the visit of the russian leader was held in Anchorage.

This was reported by former Voice of America journalist Ostap Yarysh.

On August 14, activists gathered in the city center with a large yellow-blue flag and the slogans "Ukraine and Alaska - never in russia again" and "Alaska without dictators." The participants emphasized that they do not want to see an authoritarian ruler in their state who unleashed a war against Ukraine.

"We are against inviting dictators to our state, especially without the participation of our governor or representatives in Congress. Putin is a war criminal and has no place on American land," the organizers of the rally say.
