Negative balance of foreign trade in goods worsens by USD 6,081.9 million to USD 18,512.2 million in H1, 2025

In January-June 2025, the imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 18,512.2 million.

The State Statistics Service has said this in a statement, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

In January-June 2025, the negative balance of trade in goods worsened by USD 6,081.9 million year over year (negative balance in January-June 2024 was USD 12,430.3 million).

In January-June 2025, Ukraine exported goods for USD 20,044.9 million, down 4.2% year over year.

In January-June 2025, Ukraine imported goods for USD 38,557.1 million, up 15.6% year over year.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in January-May 2025, the imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 14,593.5 million.

In 2024, the imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 29,018.1 million.

In 2024, the negative balance of trade in goods worsened by USD 1,634 million year over year (negative balance in 2023 was USD 27,384.1 million).
