In January-May 2025, imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 14,593.5 million.
It was announced by the State Statistics Service, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
During January-May 2025, the negative balance of trade in goods worsened by USD 4,806.6 million compared to January-May 2024 (in January-May 2024, the negative balance was USD 9,786.9 million).
Exports of goods in January-May amounted to USD 16,946.8 million, while it decreased by 5.4% compared to January-May 2024.
Imports of goods in January-May amounted to USD 31,540.3 million, increasing by 13.9%.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in January-April 2025, imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 11,511.7 million.
During 2024, the negative balance of trade in goods worsened by USD 1,634 million compared to 2023 (in 2023, the negative balance was USD 27,384.1 million).
