On the night of Thursday, August 14, russian troops launched 45 drones and 2 S-300/400 anti-aircraft guided missiles over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to neutralize 24 drones.
The press service of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
It is noted that on the night of August 14 (from 9 p.m. on August 13), the enemy attacked with 2 S-300/400 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the Kursk Oblast, 45 Shahed strike UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions of Kursk, Oryol, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Shatalovo - the russian federation.
Strike UAVs attacked frontline areas of the Donetsk and Chernihiv Regions, and missiles attacked the Sumy Regi on.
"According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 a.m., air defenses shot down/suppressed 24 enemy Shahed UAVs and simulator drones of various types in the north and east of the country," the report says.
21 UAVs hit at 12 locations.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on August 13, the russians launched 49 drones and 2 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles over the territory of Ukraine, and air defense forces managed to neutralize 32 drones and 2 missiles.
