US President Donald Trump denied media reports that russian dictator vladimir putin needs to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to meet with him.
He told this to reporters at the White House.
When asked whether putin needs to meet with Zelenskyy to meet with Trump, the American president answered negatively.
"No, he doesn't. No," he said.
Donald Trump also added: "They would like to meet me, and I'll do whatever I can to stop the killing."
Recall, a White House spokesman told the New York Post that Trump would meet with russian leader vladimir putin only if putin also meets with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on August 7, US President Donald Trump announced that his personal meeting with russian dictator vladimir putin may take place in the near future.
At the same time, the White House stated that the initiative for the meeting between russian president vladimir putin and US President Donald Trump came from the russian side.
At the same time, on August 7, putin called the United Arab Emirates a likely place for a meeting with Trump.
