Russia struck railway infrastructure with Shaheds at night, train traffic not stopped

Russian troops struck the railway infrastructure of Ukraine on the night of August 7 with attack drones. This was reported by the chairman of the board of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia Oleksandr Pertsovskyi on Facebook.

"Another night.... Another night of massive raids by groups of Shaheds on completely civilian railway infrastructure. This time - Prydniprovka," the chairman of the board said in a message.

He also reported that security measures worked and all employees on duty were moved to shelter in advance. Train traffic was not stopped due to the attack.

"We will restore the infrastructure and equipment after damage. We are not stopping traffic at all - we definitely will not succeed in sowing panic or despondency," Pertsovskyi said.
