On the night of August 5, the army of the aggressor state of russia launched a massive attack on the railway infrastructure of Lozova, Kharkiv Region - the station and other facilities were damaged. A mechanic was killed, four more railway workers were injured. Some trains are running on a bypass route.
This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.
"As a result of the enemy attack, the railway station and other infrastructure facilities were damaged. Most people managed to take shelter, but, unfortunately, there were casualties," the message says.
As a result of the enemy shelling, a duty mechanic from one of the units was killed, four more railway workers were injured. At the moment, all the victims are being provided with the necessary medical assistance.
In addition, as a result of the shelling, trains No. 66/65 - 166/165 Uman - Cherkasy - Kharkiv are already traveling on a detour route. The same is expected for other trains in the Kramatorsk direction - the detour under the reserve diesel locomotive will generate a delay of up to an hour. Passengers from/to Lozova will be transported to trains in Paniutyno by buses.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, last day, the propaganda of the aggressor state of russia announced the alleged capture of the Hoptivka checkpoint in the Kharkiv Region by the occupiers. The Derhachivskyi city military administration denied the information, noting that the enemy did indeed storm it, but the checkpoint is under the control of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
