In July, trading volume on PFTS down 22% to UAH 60 billion

In July 2025, the total trading volume on the PFTS amounted to UAH 60 billion (78% of the previous month's level), or 78% of the total trading volume of securities trading organizers in Ukraine.

This is stated in the exchange's message, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In January-July 2025, the total trading volume on the PFTS amounted to UAH 489 billion (190% of the level of the same period in 2024), or 82% of the total trading volume of securities trading organizers in Ukraine.

In the trading structure for July, the share of Ukrainian government bonds was 68% (UAH 40.8 billion, or 66% of the previous month's level), currency swaps - 23.4% (UAH 14.1 billion, or 119% of the previous month's level), foreign government bonds - 7.1% (UAH 4.3 billion, or 193% of the previous month's level), CII securities - 1.1% (UAH 0.6 billion, or 166% of the previous month's level), corporate bonds of Ukrainian issuers - 0.4% (UAH 0.2 billion, or 206% of the previous month's level), bonds of foreign issuers - 0.03% (UAH 15.4 million, or 203% of the previous month's level), shares of Ukrainian issuers - 0.01% (UAH 8 million, or 268% of the previous month's level) and shares of foreign issuers - 0.0003% (UAH 0.2 million, or 19% of the previous month).

In July, 7% of transactions were concluded on the "order market", 83.4% of transactions on the "quotation market" (including address transactions), 5.6% of transactions in the REPO and REPO "with risk control" modes, 3.9% of transactions in the SWOP "with risk control" mode, and 0.1% of transactions in the unilateral auction mode.

In July 2025, 40 trading participants concluded transactions with 90 securities issues (49 government bonds, 8 government bonds, 8 CII securities, 7 corporate bonds of Ukrainian issuers, 6 shares of foreign issuers, 5 bonds of foreign countries, 4 shares of Ukrainian issuers, 2 currency swaps, and 1 bond of foreign issuers).

In January-July 2025, 48 trading participants concluded transactions with 171 securities issues. Government bonds - 72, government foreign loan bonds - 9, corporate bonds of Ukrainian issuers - 5, bonds of foreign countries - 26, shares of foreign issuers - 23, shares of Ukrainian issuers - 11, CII securities - 10, bonds of foreign issuers - 3 and currency swaps - 2.

From June 17, 2024, trading in currency swaps began in the PFTS trading system.

In July 2025, transactions were concluded with currency swaps US dollar - Ukrainian hryvnia (ticker: USDUAH) and euro - Ukrainian hryvnia (ticker: EURUAH).

The total volume of trading in the above swaps amounted to UAH 14.1 billion. (23.4% of the total trading volume, or 119% of the previous month's level).

Among the 49 issues of government bonds with which transactions were concluded in July, 11 issues - with maturity dates in 2025 (UAH 1.8 billion), 16 issues - with maturity dates in 2026 (UAH 10.9 billion), 13 issues - with maturity dates in 2027 (UAH 11 billion), 6 issues - with maturity dates in 2028 (UAH 10.8 billion) and 3 issues - with maturity dates in 2029 (UAH 4.5 billion).

From July 26, 2022, trading in domestic government bonds of Ukraine denominated in foreign currency, in the currency of the nominal value, began on the PFTS.

In July 2025, the volume of exchange contracts with government bonds executed in the nominal currency amounted to USD 56.1 million and EUR 11.6 million (4.8% of the total trading volume).

As of August 1, 2025, the number of members of JSC PFTS Stock Exchange admitted to trading was 50:29 banks and 21 financial companies.

411 issues of financial instruments were admitted to trading on JSC PFTS Stock Exchange, of which 115 issues of securities were in the Exchange Register.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in June 2025, the total trading volume on the PFTS amounted to UAH 76.7 billion (124% of the previous month's level), or 79% of the total trading volume of securities trading organizers in Ukraine.
