JSC Ukrnafta, as part of the Naftogaz group, and Shell Overseas Investments BV have finalized the deal for the Ukrainian state-owned company to acquire a 51% stake in LLC Alliance Holding, which owns a network of filling stations under the Shell brand in Ukraine: 118 filling stations, as well as other property.

This is announced in a statement by Ukrnafta, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The statement states that 49% of the enterprise belongs to the State Property Fund of Ukraine, that is, the state is currently the ultimate owner of 100% of LLC Alliance Holding and will receive profit through the distribution of dividends.

Acting Director of JSC Ukrnafta Yurii Tkachuk reported that in total, along with Shell filling stations, 663 filling stations under the UKRNAFTA brand will be put into operation during the year.
