Ukrnafta ups oil production by 0.6% to 1.4 million tons in 2024

In 2024, Ukrnafta, the largest oil producing company, increased oil production by 0.6% to 1.418 million tons compared to 2023 (2023 – 1.410 million tons).

The company has said this in a statement, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

It is also reported that during the specified period, Ukrnafta increased gas production by 6.5% to 1.170 billion cubic meters compared to 2023 (2023 – 1.097 billion cubic meters).

In oil equivalent, the growth in production in 2024 amounted to 3%.

In total, this is an additional 70,500 tons of hydrocarbons - 2.42 million tons in 2024 versus 2.35 million tons in 2023.

It is noted that in 2025, Ukrnafta will continue to drill new wells, update equipment, replacing Soviet-made ones with modern and technological ones from world leaders, and intensify production.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in 2023, the largest oil producing company Ukrnafta increased its production of oil with condensate by 3% to 1.41 million tons compared to 2022.

In November 2022, the shares of Motor Sich, Ukrnafta, AvtoKrAZ, Zaporizhtransformator (ZTR) and Ukrtatnafta were alienated into state ownership for the period of martial law.
