The famous Ukrainian actor and TV presenter Hennadii Popenko, known to viewers for the project "The Lost World" on the 2+2 channel, has become the new spokesman for the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine. It was reported on the department's website.
From now on, Popenko will be responsible for communication on behalf of the ministry: he will explain the work of state services for veterans, participate in public events, and help formulate understandable appeals to the military and society.
"The job of a spokesperson is multi-tasking. This includes explaining new state services, participating in the preparation of public events, and responding to information requests. As well as supporting the creation of clear, accessible communication that is free from unnecessary complexity or detachment," the ministry noted.
