In just six months of 2025, the number of funeral services in the aggressor country of russia increased by 16%, compared to the same period last year. This is stated in the report of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD).
The CCD emphasizes that such changes in the market indicate the colossal losses of the russian army in the war against Ukraine.
It is noted that the Kremlin is trying to keep the topic of losses in the war as quiet as possible. For this, in particular, the State Statistics Service of the russian federation has classified statistical data on demography. Also, since the beginning of the year, the authorities of a number of russian regions have stopped publishing data on those killed in the war against Ukraine. However, the US Department of State reported a sharp increase in the losses of the russian army since the beginning of the year - according to their data, we are talking about 100,000 russian soldiers killed from January to April.
"Russian propaganda is trying with all its might to convince the world that the russian federation can wage war indefinitely without significant consequences. However, reality stubbornly demonstrates how expensive putin's aggressive war is for russian society," the CCD emphasized.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, this year the number of companies planning to lay off workers in the aggressor country of the russian federation has rapidly increased.
It was also reported that the largest car manufacturer in the russian federation is shortening the working week due to the crisis caused by the war.
