Naftogaz attracts loan of UAH 4.7 billion from Ukrgasbank for gas procurement

The Naftogaz of Ukraine National Joint-Stock Company has concluded a loan agreement with UGB (Ukrgasbank) for the amount of UAH 4.7 billion.

The Chairman of the Board of the Naftogaz of Ukraine National Joint-Stock Company Serhii Koretskyi announced this on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"The funds received are already being used to purchase natural gas to form sufficient reserves in underground gas storage facilities so that the country is provided with energy resources this winter. I thank the management of Ukrgasbank. I thank the Government for the support," Koretskyi noted.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Naftogaz group has attracted a loan of UAH 4.7 billion from PrivatBank.
