Naftogaz Group and Polish energy company ORLEN have signed a Memorandum of Strategic Cooperation.
This is announced in the group's statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The statement says that the document was signed by the head of Naftogaz Group Serhii Koretskyi and ORLEN Director General Ireneusz Fonfara on May 29, 2025.
The memorandum provides for the development of cooperation, in particular: in the field of extraction and development of deposits, restoration of destroyed infrastructure, implementation of potential joint projects.
It is noted that during the meeting the parties also discussed the supply of natural gas, petroleum products, cross-border and commercial cooperation.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in early March, Naftogaz Group and energy company ORLEN (Poland) signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of liquefied natural gas (LNG).
