It is noted that thanks to the professional actions of the pilot, it was possible to avoid casualties and destruction on the ground. The pilot ejected in time, he was promptly found by a search and rescue team - the condition of the serviceman is stable, he was provided with the necessary assistance.

The SBI qualified under Part 2 of Article 416 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - violation of flight rules or preparation for them, which caused a disaster.

Investigators inspected the scene, seized official documentation and other material evidence, interrogated witnesses. Currently, interrogations of responsible persons, technical examinations, as well as analysis and decoding of data from the flight recorder are planned.

The SBI emphasized that the investigation pays special attention to studying the technical condition of the aircraft, compliance with flight preparation regulations and the effectiveness of control by responsible persons. In parallel, an internal investigation is underway in the military unit to establish all the causes and conditions that could have led to the emergency.

"The investigation is under special control of the SBI leadership, given the strategic importance of aviation security in martial law conditions," the department added.

Recall, on the evening of July 22, it became known that a French Mirage 2000 fighter jet crashed in the Volyn Region. During the flight, the aircraft's aviation equipment failed. The pilot managed to eject.
