"Government preparing one-year moratorium on business inspections" – Svyrydenko

Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko held the first meeting of the government and named the issues that will be considered next week. Svyrydenko reported this on her Facebook page on Sunday, July 20.

The Prime Minister noted that the government plans to introduce a one-year moratorium on business inspections, an issue that has already been discussed with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. According to her, an audit of criminal cases against businesses has also begun in order to close groundless proceedings against entrepreneurial activity.

"In parallel, tax and customs inspections will be limited. We will also strengthen control over the legality of investigative actions. Inspections will be carried out only in high-risk sectors, and conscientious enterprises will receive protection. We are ready to initiate changes to laws to better protect businesses, reform supervision, and fairly use confiscated assets of the Russian Federation," Svyrydenko wrote.

In addition, the Government discussed plans for its own weapons production and the reconstruction and restoration of housing and infrastructure.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on June 27, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed to prepare a moratorium on business inspections.
