Lukianivska metro station in Kyiv temporarily closed due to shelling

On Monday, July 21, the work of the Lukianivska metro station in Kyiv was suspended due to damage during enemy shelling.

As the Kyiv City Administration reported on Telegram, the ground part of the station was damaged due to the attack. There was no fire, the underground premises remained undamaged, but the station is currently closed for passengers to enter and exit.

The resumption of work will be reported separately. At the same time, the underground halls of the station continue to be used as shelters.

We remind you that that night, russian troops carried out a massive strike on Kyiv with drones. Closer to the morning, footage with smoke at the station appeared on the network. Later, the mayor of the city, Vitali Klitschko, confirmed that the entrance part of the metro station was damaged.

Meanwhile, on the night of July 20, the aggressor state russia released 57 drones over the territory of Ukraine. Air defense shot down 18 drones, another 7 were lost in the air. 32 UAVs' hits were recorded in 10 locations.
