Kyiv resident killed by russian shelling

On the night of Monday, July 21, russian troops launched a massive strike on Kyiv with drones. As of this morning, at least one person was reported dead.

The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, reported this on Telegram.

"Unfortunately, we have information about one person who was killed as a result of the attack," his message, published at 4:39 a.m., said.

Earlier, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that doctors were responding to calls in the Dniprovskyi, Darnytskyi, Shevchenkivskyi and Solomianskyi Districts of the city.

As a result of the night attack in the capital, residential buildings and a supermarket are burning, debris fell on the territory of a kindergarten, and the entrance to the Lukianivska metro station is damaged. Kyiv continues to be under threat of new attacks.

Meanwhile, on the night of July 20, the aggressor state russia launched 57 drones into the territory of Ukraine. Air defense shot down 18 drones, another 7 were lost in the air. 32 UAVs' hits were recorded in 10 locations.
