On July 16, 160 combat clashes took place at the front, the enemy attacked the most in the Pokrovsk (51 clashes), Novopavlivsk and Lyman (22 each) Axes.
This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy launched one missile and 78 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, used two missiles and dropped 125 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, the enemy involved 4,150 kamikaze drones for destruction and carried out 5,662 attacks on the positions of troops and settlements, in particular, 102 from multiple launch rocket systems.
On July 16, 160 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded at the front.
Thus, in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk Axes, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 21 assault actions of the occupiers. In addition, the enemy carried out 13 air strikes, dropping 33 guided aerial bombs, and also carried out 340 shelling of the positions of troops and settlements, in particular, 7 - from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South-Slobozhansk Axis, the enemy stormed the positions of the Defense Forces 13 times in the areas of Vovchansk, Zelene, Stroivka and towards Kudiyivka.
In the Kupyansk Axis, 3 attacks of the occupiers were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Kindrashivka, Synkivka and Zahryzove.
In the Lyman Axis, the enemy attacked 22 times near the settlements of Novoyehorivka, Novyi Myr, Nadiya, Karpivka, Kolodiazi, Yampolivka, Zelena Dolyna, Torske and towards Serebrianka.
In the Siversk Axis, 4 attacks were repelled in the area of Hryhorivka and towards Vyimka.
In the Kramatorsk Axis, 7 attacks were repelled in the area of Orikhovo-Vasylivka and towards Bila Hora and Predtechyne.
In the Toretsk Axis, 9 attacks were repelled in the areas of Shcherbynivka, Nelipivka, Toretsk, Rusynyi Yar and Oleksandro-Kalynove.
In the Pokrovsk Axis, the Defense Forces stopped 51 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Poltavka, Novoekonomichne, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Novoukrainka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Muravka and Oleksiivka.
In the Novopavlivsk Axis, the enemy attacked 22 times in the areas of the settlements of Piddubne, Myrne, Vilne Pole, Voskresenka and Zelene Pole.
In the Huliaipole, Orikhiv and Prydniprovsk Axes over the past day, the occupiers did not conduct offensive operations.
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 12 areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment.
In total, the losses of the russian occupiers on July 16 amounted to 1,190 people.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 15, 171 combat clashes took place at the front, with the enemy attacking most of all in the Pokrovsk (60 clashes), Novopavlivsk (27) and Lyman (25) Axes.
