On July 14, 171 combat clashes took place on the front, with the enemy attacking most of all on the Pokrovsk (60 clashes), Novopavlivka (27) and Lyman (25) axes.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy launched two missile and 54 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, using two missiles and dropping 86 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, the enemy carried out 5,574 attacks, 68 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 3,869 kamikaze drones for destruction.
On July 15, 171 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded on the front.
Thus, 21 combat engagements took place on the North-Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes. In addition, the enemy launched 10 air strikes, dropping 23 guided bombs, and carried out 363 attacks on the positions of troops and settlements, including 10 from multiple launch rocket systems.
On the South-Slobozhanshchyna axis, the Defense Forces repelled 7 attacks near the settlements of Vovchansk, Krasne Pershe and Stroivka.
On the Kupiansk axis, 5 attacks by the occupiers were repelled on the areas of the settlements of Stepova Novoselivka, Zahryzove, Pishchane and towards Kupyansk.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked 25 times near the settlements of Novyi Myr, Novoyehorivka, Hrekivka, Karpivka, Kolodiazi, Zelena Dolyna, Torske, towards Shandryholove and Serebrianka.
On the Siversk axis, 3 assaults by the occupation forces near Hryhorivka and Vyimka were repelled.
On the Kramatorsk axis, 7 clashes were recorded in the areas of Predtechyne, Bila Hora and Stupochky.
On the Toretsk axis, the enemy carried out 11 attacks near Dyliivka, Toretsk, Novospaske and Rusyn Yar.
On the Pokrovsk axis, the Defense Forces stopped 60 assaults by the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Mykolaivka, Shevchenko, Molodetske, Horikhove, Popiv Yar, Novoekonomichne, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Zvirove, Udachne, Oleksiivka, towards the settlements of Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Muravka Filiya, Dachne.
On the Novopavlivka axis, the Defense Forces stopped 27 enemy attempts to break through the defensive lines on the areas of the settlements of Zaporizhzhia, Piddubne, Lisne, Myrne, Maliivka, Shevchenko, Novosilka, Zelene Pole and towards the settlements of Komyshuvakha, Temyrivka, Novokhatske.
On the Huliaipole axis, the Defense Forces successfully stopped one enemy assault near the settlement of Malynivka.
In the area of Novodanylivka on the Orikhiv axis, one enemy assault was also repelled.
On the Dnieper axis, 8 attacks by the invaders were repelled in the area of the Antonivskyi bridge and near the islands of Kozulskyi and Zabych.
Over the past day, the Defense Forces' aviation, missile forces and artillery hit 6 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, three control points, two air defense systems and one artillery system of the russian invaders.
In total, the losses of the russian occupiers on July 15 amounted to 1,170 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 14, 185 combat clashes took place on the front, with the enemy attacking most of the time on the Pokrovsk (55 clashes) and Lyman (27) axes.
Meanwhile, on the night of Wednesday, July 16, russian troops launched one missile and 400 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to shoot down 198 of them, another 145 drones were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare means.
