The State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) conducted investigative actions in the apartment of Lilia Averianova, mother of the deceased pilot Andrii Pilshchykov ("Juice"), since the head of the Anti-Corruption Center, Vitalii Shabunin, lived there before the suspicion was announced. The Bureau's actions do not concern the memory of the deceased Hero of Ukraine.
SBI spokeswoman Tetiana Sapian announced this in a comment to journalists, Ukrainska Pravda reports on Wednesday, July 16.
SBI employees conducted investigative actions, including searches in the apartment where Shabunin lived.
"The SBI acts exclusively within the law and with respect for the memory of the deceased Heroes," Sapian emphasized.
According to her, no investigative actions in any way concern the mother of the deceased Hero. The searches were conducted, in particular, to obtain evidence of Shabunin's illegal activities, Sapian said.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 11, investigators from the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) searched the apartment of Hero of Ukraine, pilot Andrii "Juice" Pilshchykov.
As a reminder, the SBI is investigating the plane crash in the Zhytomyr Region that occurred on August 25, in which three pilots of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine died, including the famous pilot "Juice".
