In January-April 2025, imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 11,511.7 million.
This was announced by the State Statistics Service, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
During January-April 2025, the negative balance of trade in goods worsened by USD 3,756.9 million compared to January-April 2024 (in January-April 2024, the negative balance was USD 7,754.8 million).
Exports of goods in January-April amounted to USD 13,311.8 million, while it decreased by 6.9% compared to January-April 2024.
Imports of goods in January-April amounted to USD 24,823.5 million, increasing by 12.6%.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in January-March 2025, imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 3,115.7 million.
During 2024, the negative balance of trade in goods worsened by USD 1,634 million compared to 2023 (in 2023, the negative balance was USD 27,384.1 million).
