Russian drone hits critical infrastructure facility in Sumy

Russian terrorist forces used drones to attack Sumy, one of which hit a critical infrastructure facility.

The head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, reported this on his Telegram channel on Sunday, July 13.

Hryhorov noted that the Sumy community was under attack by russian drones. According to him, the activity of enemy UAVs was recorded in Sumy and on the approach to the city.

"One of the UAVs hit a critical infrastructure facility. Part of the city was temporarily left without electricity. A number of important institutions were transferred to backup power supply," the head of the Regional Military Administration wrote.

Currently, specialists are eliminating the consequences of the russian shelling in order to restore power supply.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 3, the occupation army attacked Konotop, Sumy Region, destroying a critical infrastructure facility.

On July 7, the Sumy Regional Military Administration stated that the russian occupiers were deliberately striking energy and gas infrastructure facilities.

On July 9, Sumy and a number of settlements in the Sumy Region were left without electricity as a result of a strike by the russian occupation army.
