The Southern Military District of the aggressor country of russia has irretrievably lost at least 28% of newly arrived servicemen from among the convicted persons. This was reported by the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Friday, July 11.
Thus, according to the Defense Intelligence, in the period from July 2024 to the end of April 2025, 14,560 people from among the convicted persons and those under investigation were enlisted in the Southern Military District of the russian armed forces. They signed a contract with the occupation forces in order to avoid criminal liability and earn money.
According to the reports of the occupation forces themselves, only in the period from January to April 2025, irretrievable losses among such "soldiers" amounted to at least 4,212 people - killed or missing, not counting the wounded. This is more than 28% of the total number of newly arrived "special contingent", the intelligence officers noted.
Among the killed - a significant number of people aged 18-19. The youngest was a private of the 111th Rifle Regiment Saprykin Sergey Mikhailovich, born in 2006.
"These facts are another evidence of the Kremlin's cynical policy, which turns youth and marginalized groups of the population into expendable material in the war against Ukraine," the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense emphasized.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, according to the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, about 10% of servicemen of the Southern Military District of the armed forces of the aggressor country, the russian federation, do not receive financial support or do not receive it in full.
