AMCU allows Petrenko's UPG to lease 34 gas stations of Kolomoiskyi

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) allowed the company Ukrpaletsystem, which is part of the UPG group of businessman Volodymyr Petrenko, to lease 34 gas stations that are related to the Avias network of the Privat group.

This was reported on his Facebook page by Chairman of AMCU Pavlo Kyrylenko.

"PE Ukrpaletsystem received permission from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine to acquire control over the assets of the limited liability companies Tequila Gold, Sky Project, Sirius Gold, Perspektyva Pro, Newport Holding, Like Invest, Corso Town, Image Evolution, Zhasmi-Trade and Eurotrade Expo by leasing the assets (single property complexes) of 34 gas stations located in Kyiv and the Kyiv Region," Kyrylenko wrote.

The relevant decision was made by the Committee at a meeting on July 10.

According to the publication Economic Pravda, this is UPG's second attempt to obtain permission.

Earlier, the AMCU returned the submitted documents due to their non-compliance with the requirements for consideration of cases of economic concentration.

According to the Economic Pravda, at least 400 gas stations of the Privat group may subsequently come under UPG's control.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in mid-April, the AMCU reported that Okko-Drive LLC, which is part of Vitalii Antonov's OKKO holding, wants to lease 19 gas stations in Kyiv.
