OKKO-Drive LLC, part of the OKKO holding, wants to lease 19 gas stations in Kyiv.
This is stated in a report by the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU), Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"By order of the State Commissioner of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine dated April 03, 2025 No. 03/62-r, case No. 128-25/6-25-EK was initiated on concentrations in the form of acquisition by the Limited Liability Company OKKO-DRIVE of control over the assets of the Limited Liability Company AVTOBANSERVICE, the Limited Liability Company KLO, the Limited Liability Company GINGER-S by leasing assets in the form of 19 (nineteen) single property complexes - gas stations located within the city of Kyiv," the report says.
Director of the A-95 Consulting Group Serhii Kuyun reported on Facebook that a series of sad events played a significant role in the decision of the shareholders of KLO to seek an exit from the market (after 2022, KLO unexpectedly lost a lot of sales and according to this sad indicator ended up in the top three with BRSM and Socar).
It is noted that some facilities were occupied, were destroyed and were restored for a long time.
The Raiduha [Rainbow] complex on Brovarskyi Avenue in Kyiv burned down, and the two most powerful complexes on Bazhana Avenue were neutralized by the closure of the Southern Bridge.
The most powerful blow was the enemy attack on the company's oil depot, where, according to various estimates, there could be up to 10,000 tons of gasoline (market value - USD 10 million).
Kuyun writes that the main intrigue is not this, but who will become the new owner of the network of Ihor Kolomoiskyi - Avias, ANP, etc.
This is the largest national network in terms of the number of stations with over 600 gas stations.
"As I already reported, the curator of the oil business of the Privat Group, Mykhailo Kiperman, has intensified the search for buyers for the network and in three months has reviewed several concepts - sale in pieces, transfer to management, etc. But, according to available data, a contender for the entire asset has now appeared," Kuyun wrote.
This will determine how and how quickly the fuel retail will begin to reformat.
According to Kuyun, when 600 Kolomoiskyi’s gas stations are launched, this will automatically pull sales from the least competitive gas stations and lead to their closure.
This applies to KLO last of all due to the advantageous location of the network, but it also applies.
That is why a decision was made to gradually exit.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine allowed Galnaftogaz to acquire TOKA First National Network of Electric Fueling Complexes LLC.
OKKO Group is an all-Ukrainian holding company, the flagship of which is Galnaftogaz Concern (the operator of the OKKO gas station network).
The OKKO gas station network includes more than 400 gas stations.
The divisions of the concern Galnaftogaz are also engaged in the sale of goods through stores at gas stations, the sale of petroleum products in large and small wholesale, and provide services for fuel quality examination, storage and transportation of petroleum products.
The OKKO network has 10 oil depots and 16 stationary and mobile laboratories for the quality control of petroleum products.
The ultimate beneficiary is businessman Vitalii Antonov.
