Kellogg after meeting with Zelenskyy says ceasefire is doable

US Special Envoy Keith Kellogg, after meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Rome, said that a ceasefire is now doable. He stressed that the war must end.

He wrote about this on X.

"It's It's an honor to be here in Rome representing President Trump. The Conference is focused on the future. As he has repeatedly said, the killing needs to stop. A cease fire now is doable," he wrote.

Kellogg said that the United States continues to help Ukraine protect its people and prevent the loss of innocent lives.

"Last night Ukraine sustained over 740 drone/missile attacks. A historical high number ever in history. The war needs to stop," he stressed.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, US President's Special Envoy Keith Kellogg said that partners should help Ukraine rebuild by implementing their "Marshall Plan" for it.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump said that he was dissatisfied with the large-scale air attack by the army of the aggressor country russia on Ukraine using more than seven hundred UAVs.

Earlier, Kellogg spoke about how he sees the end of the russian-Ukrainian war, and also expressed a "feeling of confidence" after getting acquainted with the vision of Kyiv and moscow regarding the end of the war.
