The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy launched 5 missile strikes with fourteen missiles and 74 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, in particular, dropped 122 guided bombs.
In addition, the enemy carried out 5,120 attacks, 113 of them from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 4,037 kamikaze drones for destruction.
On July 9, 201 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded at the front.
Thus, 14 combat clashes took place on the North-Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes.
The enemy carried out 7 air strikes here, dropping 12 guided bombs, and carried out 281 artillery attacks, including three with MLRS.
On the South-Slobozhanshchyna axis, the aggressor stormed the positions of the Ukrainian defenders 13 times in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Kamyanka, Krasne Pershe, Ambarne and towards Lyptsi and Petro-Ivanivka.
On the Kupyansk axis, six attacks by the occupiers took place.
The defense forces repelled the enemy's assault actions near Stepova Novoselivka, Radkivka and towards Novoosynove.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked 30 times, trying to advance near the settlements of Novyi Myr, Ridkodub, Serednie, Karpivka, Zelena Dolyna, Torske, Hrekivka, Kolodiazi and towards Serebrianka.
On the Siversk axis, the russians launched seven attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the areas of Serebrianka, Verkhniokamyanske and Viimka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, four combat clashes were recorded on the areas of Bila Hora, Chasiv Yar and Predtechyne.
On the Toretsk axis, the invaders launched eight attacks on the areas of Dyliivka, Shcherbynivka, Toretsk, Rusyn Yar and towards Pleshchiivka.
On the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped 61 offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Popiv Yar, Poltavka, Novotoretske, Myrnohrad, Novoekonomichne, Myrne, Horikhove, Myroliubivka, Mykolaivka, Promin, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Dachne, Novoserhiivka, Yalta, Oleksiivka and towards the settlements of Shakhove, Novopidhorodnie, Pokrovsk, Razine, Rodynske.
On the Novopavlivka axis, the Defense Forces repelled 29 attacks on their positions near the settlements of Yalta, Myrne, Zelene Pole, Shevchenko, Vilne Pole.
On the Orikhiv axis, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled one enemy attack in the area of Novodanylivka.
On the Dnieper axis, the enemy tried nine times without success to advance towards the fortifications of the Ukrainian defenders towards the settlement of Prydniprovske and the island of Bilohrudyi.
The russians did not conduct offensive operations on the Huliaipole axis.
Over the past day, the Defense Forces' aviation, missile troops, and artillery struck 13 areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, two drone control points, and two command and observation posts of the russian invaders.
In total, the losses of the russian invaders on July 9 amounted to 920 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 8, 183 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest of which were on the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka axes.
