183 combat clashes take place at front during day, hottest was in Pokrovsk and Novopavlivsk Axes

On July 8, 183 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest Axes were Pokrovsk (67 clashes) and Novopavlivsk (36).

This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Over the past day, the enemy launched three missile strikes using eight missiles on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, as well as 83 air strikes, in particular, dropping 139 guided aerial bombs.

In addition, the enemy carried out 5,928 shelling, 122 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 5,928 kamikaze drones for strikes.

On July 8, 183 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded at the front.

Thus, in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk Axes, there were 16 clashes.

The aggressor launched 12 air strikes here using 21 guided aerial bombs and carried out 326 artillery attacks, including six with MLRS.

In the South-Slobozhansk Axis, there were 11 clashes in the areas of Vovchansk, Zelene, Ambarne and Kamyanka.

In the Kupyansk Axis, four attacks by the invaders were recorded.

The Defense Forces repelled the enemy's assault actions in the areas of Zahryzove, Stepova Novoselivka and Holubivka.

In the Lyman Axis, the enemy attacked 19 times, trying to advance in the areas of the settlements of Novyi Myr, Karpivka, Zelena Dolyna, Torske, Ridkodub, Hryhorivka and in the direction of Shandryholovy and Seredne.

In the Siversk Axis, the russians attacked the positions of the Defense Forces four times near Ivano-Daryivka and in the directions of Serebryanka and Vyimka.

In the Kramatorsk Axis, there were three clashes in the direction of Stupochky and Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk Axis, the enemy carried out 10 attacks in the areas of Dyliyivka, Toretsk, Yablunivka, Rusynyi Yar and in the directions of Katerynivka, Oleksandro-Kalynovye.

In the Pokrovsk Axis, the Ukrainian defenders stopped 67 attacks of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Popiv Yar, Poltavka, Myrne, Malynivka, Myroliubivka, Razyne, Lysivka, Shevchenko, Zvirove, Udachne, Promin, Novoserhiyivka, Muravka, Oleksiivka, Zelenyi Kut, Horikhove and in the directions of Pokrovsk, Volodymyrivka, Molodetske and Novopavlivka.

In the Novopavlivsk Axis, the Defense Forces repelled 36 enemy assaults near the settlements of Zaporizhzhia, Piddubne, Myrne, Komar, Voskresenka, Shevchenko, Zelene Pole, Vilne Pole and Novopil.

In the Huliaipole Axis, the enemy once attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Malynivka.

In the Prydniprovsk Axis, the russians once unsuccessfully tried to approach the fortifications of the Ukrainian defenders.

In the Orikhiv Axis, the russian occupiers did not conduct offensive operations.

Over the past day, the aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit two artillery systems, 10 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and one enemy command post.

In total, the losses of the russian invaders on July 8 amounted to 1,050 people.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 7, 188 combat clashes took place at the front, most of them in the Pokrovsk (68 clashes) and Novopavlivsk (30) Axes.
