On July 7, 2025, the Interdepartmental Commission for International Trade adopted a decision to apply final anti-dumping measures on imports into Ukraine of fittings for water supply and heating systems originating from the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Turkey.
This is announced in a statement by the law firm Ilyashev & Partners, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The statement states that the investigation was initiated on the basis of a complaint filed by a Ukrainian manufacturer, whose interests in the procedure were protected by the law firm Ilyashev & Partners.
The investigation results established facts of dumping imports of fittings from Turkey and China at prices significantly lower than the normal cost on the domestic market of these countries.
Such imports have caused significant damage to the national producer, in particular, a decrease in production volumes, a drop in sales and a deterioration in financial results.
It is noted that according to the Commission's decision, the final anti-dumping duty was set at the following rates: for Chinese manufacturers - 166.65% of the customs value of the goods; for Turkish manufacturers - 34.72%.
The project became an exceptional case in the practice of applying trade protection in Ukraine - the investigation was completed ahead of schedule, in just 9 months instead of the one-year period stipulated by law.
This became possible thanks to the effective work of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and changes in approaches to considering such cases.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukraine extended anti-dumping duties on cement from russia, Belarus and Moldova until 2030.
