US President Donald Trump stated this during a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
"We're going to send some more weapons. We have to. They have to be able to defend themselves. They're getting hit very hard, now. They're getting hit very hard. We're going to have to send more weapons, defensive weapons, primarily," he said.
The American President also expressed dissatisfaction with the actions of russian dictator vladimir putin and emphasized that the war is taking lives.
"I'm disappointed that President Putin has not stopped," he emphasized, adding that the kremlin leader does not seem to intend to stop the war.
Recall that earlier on July 1, information appeared in the media about a partial suspension of military supplies to Ukraine. However, Trump assured that the United States would continue to provide assistance. According to the State Department, Kyiv was informed in advance by Washington about possible changes in supplies.
