The Ukrainian military has restored positions and is holding territories in the Kursk and Belgorod Oblasts of the aggressor country of the russian federation.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi reported this on his Facebook.
He said that he took part in a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Headquarters.
"I reported on the situation at the front, primarily in the hottest directions - in particular Pokrovsk, Lyman, Novopavlivka, North-Slobozhanshchyna. In the past day alone, 188 combat clashes with the enemy took place. In total, the occupiers lost over a thousand of their soldiers yesterday," the report says.
The Commander-in-Chief also emphasized the successful actions of Ukrainian units in active defense, in particular, in containing the enemy in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka directions and preventing it from reaching the administrative borders of the Dnipropetrovsk Region.
"I emphasized the restoration of positions and the holding of territories in the Kursk and Belgorod Oblasts of the russian federation. We continue to restrain a significant enemy group in the border area. The enemy will not have peace there. I am monitoring the development of the interceptor drones. New crews are being formed, fighters are being trained. The army needs as many such high-tech UAVs as possible," added Syrskyi.
As we will recall, the russians earlier confirmed the death of General Mikhail Gudkov in the Kursk Oblast.
