On July 8, on the anniversary of the enemy missile strike on the Okhmatdyt National Children's Specialized Hospital in Kyiv, the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine published information about one of the servicemen of the army of the aggressor country of the russian federation, who was responsible for preparing this war crime.
Thus, according to the Defense Intelligence, Major of the russian armed forces Sheynov Denis Alekseevich is the head of the special engineering service of the 121st Heavy Bomber Aviation Regiment of the 22nd Heavy Bomber Aviation Division.
It was this unit that was directly involved in the terrorist attack on the medical facility, where 627 children were being treated at the time of the strike.
It is reported that Major Sheynov, in his functional duties as head of the special engineering service, was responsible for organizing the technical training of Kh-101 air-launched cruise missiles for use by strategic aviation aircraft.

War criminal Denis Sheynov was born on January 30, 1978 in Saratov. Passport: series 6302 No. 906672, issued on March 15, 2002 by the Department of Internal Affairs of the Kirovsky District of the city of Saratov.
He is a graduate of the Saratov Higher Military Engineering Command School of the Missile Forces. In 2018, he was in Syria, where he performed so-called special tasks.
He was awarded medals "For Military Valor" II degree. (2000), "For Distinction in Military Service" I degree (2015), "To a Participant in a Military Operation in Syria" (2019).

According to the Defense Intelligence, dozens of enterprises that manufacture Kh-101 missiles, one of which hit the Okhmatdyt hospital a year ago, on July 8, 2024, are still not under sanctions.
