Dozens of enterprises producing Kh-101 missiles, one of which was used to hit the Okhmatdyt hospital a year ago, on July 8, 2024, are still not under sanctions.
The Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has reported this on Telegram.
It is reported that a year ago, russia committed another war crime – it purposefully hit one of the buildings of the Okhmatdyt children's hospital with a Kh-101 cruise missile. The strike killed two people and injured more than 50 others, including children. On the first anniversary of the criminal strike on Okhmatdyt, the Defense Intelligence published data on more than 70 enterprises - developers and manufacturers of the Kh-101 missile, as well as its components: from the turbojet engine and guidance system to electronics, bearings and forgings.
"Dozens of them are still not under sanctions by any of the countries of the sanctions coalition and retain access to equipment, component base and technologies critically needed for the production of missiles," the message says.
Also, the Defense Intelligence in the "Components in Weapons" section of the War&Sanctions portal publishes the "filling" of the russian Kh-101 cruise missile, in particular information about its main components and units, as well as data on enterprises involved in the production of the missile and its components.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the morning of July 8, air defense was operating in Kyiv due to a massive missile strike by the aggressor state. Falling debris was recorded in 7 districts: Solomianskyi, Dniprovskyi, Darnytskyi, Desnianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Holosiivskyi and Sviatoshynskyi Districts. The Okhmatdyt children's hospital, houses, a company, an office building were damaged.
In Kyiv, the Okhmatdyt children's hospital was damaged due to russian shelling.
The russian media controlled by the kremlin almost completely ignored information about the attack by the russian army on the Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv, citing the propaganda narrative about "an air defense missile falling" on the medical facility.
