Yerevan denies expansion of russian military presence in Armenia

The Armenian Foreign Ministry has denied media reports about the possible use of the republic's territory to attack neighboring countries. This was reported by the Novosti Armenia agency.

The agency emphasized Armenia's unchanging position: the country's territory cannot be used by third states for the purpose of conducting hostilities.

"In response to the fabricated information that appeared in the press, the Republic of Armenia once again confirms its principled position, according to which the territory of the Republic of Armenia cannot be used by third states for conducting hostilities against any of the neighboring states," said the press secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, Ani Badalyan.

Recall that earlier the Defense Intelligence stated that the russian federation is expanding its military presence in Armenia amid the aggravation of relations with Azerbaijan.
