British military intelligence analyzes liquidation of deputy commander of russian Navy

The military intelligence community of the British Ministry of Defense believes that the liquidation of russian generals could negatively affect the command system in some units of the russian forces.

This is stated in a review by British analysts on Saturday.

As noted by British intelligence, the recently liquidated deputy commander of the russian Navy, Mikhail Gudkov, became at least the second high-ranking general to die since the beginning of the year.

In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, russia has lost at least 16 generals, the review says.

"The loss of such a number of high-ranking officers is likely to have undermined the command and control system in some units of the russian Armed Forces. This is likely to have led to tactical and operational difficulties for russia during the conflict," British intelligence notes.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Major General Mikhail Gudkov was eliminated on July 2 in the Kursk Oblast.
