High air pollution levels recorded in Kyiv after russian night attack

A sharp deterioration in air quality was recorded in Kyiv after a massive enemy air attack, in connection with which the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources advises citizens to limit their time outdoors and monitor their water balance.

The press service of the Ministry of Environmental Protection has said this in a statement, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"The level of atmospheric air pollution in Kyiv is high. The radiation background in the city remains normal. This is evidenced by data from city air quality monitoring stations," the Ministry of Environmental Protection said.

The reason for the deterioration in air quality is fires caused by massive russian shelling on the night of July 4.
