Syrskyi demands to increase security of military personnel in training centers and rear ranges

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi demands to increase the security of military personnel in training centers and rear ranges.

Syrskyi announced this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"I heard reports on the implementation of measures to protect training centers from enemy air (missile) strikes. My unconditional demand is to ensure and increase the security of military personnel in training centers and rear ranges," he said.

Syrskyi emphasized that the accumulation of personnel and military equipment, the placement of military personnel in tent camps is prohibited.

He noted that new shelters, dugouts and other protective structures are being built at training locations, and additional engineering solutions are being implemented to protect soldiers who are preparing, training and recovering.

"I emphasized the mandatory compliance with the requirements for the equipment of shelters in training centers and training grounds, as well as the correct and prompt notification of air raids," he said.

Syrskyi also identified tasks for improving training, including organizing the assignment of newly created army corps to training battalions that operate as part of unit training centers.

The newly appointed Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Ihor Skybiuk, will be responsible for the direction of training.
