Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that the army of the aggressor state of russia attacked the city for the first time with a new type of drone Chernika. It is similar to the UAV Molniya, but has a different design.
He reported this on Telegram.
Thus, over the past week, Kharkiv has experienced 16 russian attacks, among which a strike by a drone of the Chernika type was recorded for the first time.
"Most often, the enemy struck with Shaheds, but also specialists from the Department of Emergency Situations recorded a strike for the first time with a drone of a new type called Chernika. This drone is similar in terms of warhead power to the Molniya, but has a different design," the report says.
As a result of its strike on the city, several cars in a garage cooperative were damaged.
As a result, Terekhov emphasized that four people, including a child, were injured by the russian attacks in a week. Explosions were recorded in Nemyshlianskyi, Kyivskyi and Industrialnyi districts. Both residential buildings and civilian enterprises were destroyed.
Earlier, activist Serhii Sternenko said that the Defense Forces of the South shot down 3 of the latest russian Chernika-2 kamikaze drones, one of which was asking to be shot down, literally bearing the "shoot it down already, someone!" writing.
"According to available information, this drone is dangerous because of its cheapness, homing function and 3.5 kg warhead," Sternenko said in a statement.
