Ukrainian ballistics is a priority for the Ministry of Defense. Currently, active work is underway on systems capable of hitting targets deep in enemy territory.
Deputy Defense Minister Anatolii Klochko has stated this.
According to him, Ukraine has made serious progress in the development of its own ballistic missiles. The issue of Ukrainian ballistics is currently off the agenda - it has the highest level of priority in the defense sector.
"A lot has been done, a lot of work has been done. And I will say that the President has already said this today. Well, firstly, more attention has been paid to Ukrainian ballistics. That is, this issue is today, you know, not first, second, third, but out of turn," Klochko noted.
The Deputy Defense Minister added that Ukrainian ballistics is not only about technology, but also about the army's ability to hit strategic enemy targets deep in its defense. Development is ongoing, and in the near future Ukrainian society will hear more specific statements regarding this weapon, Klochko added.
