SSU special operation. 3 helicopters and Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile system destroyed in Crimea

The Security Service of Ukraine attacked the Kirovske military airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea with drones on the night of June 27-28. As a result, the Mi-8, Mi-26 and Mi-28 multi-purpose and attack helicopters, as well as the Pantsir-S1 self-propelled anti-aircraft missile and gun complex, were destroyed. It was stated in the SSU report on Saturday, June 28.

The agency noted that the occupiers received a painful blow as a result of Ukrainian drones hitting the Kirovske airfield in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

"Fire damage was inflicted on the locations of the aviation component, air defense systems, ammunition storage depots, as well as reconnaissance and strike UAVs of the enemy. Available data indicate the destruction of multi-purpose and attack helicopters Mi-8, Mi-26 and Mi-28, as well as the Pantsir-S1 self-propelled anti-aircraft missile and gun complex," the message says.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on June 27, units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, struck the Marinovka airfield in the Volgograd Oblast of the aggressor country russia.
