On the night of Saturday, June 28, russian occupiers attacked the city of Odesa and the region with strike drones, and as a result of hitting a high-rise building, 2 people were killed and 14 people were injured, including 3 children.
The State Emergency Service and the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration Oleh Kiper announced this on the Telegram channels, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"Tonight, Russia struck a 21-story residential building in Odesa. As a result of the hit, a fire broke out on the 7th, 8th, and 9th floors. People were trapped in their apartments," the SESU report says.
According to the SESU, it was previously known about 2 deaths and at least 4 injuries; 5 people were rescued, including a small child.
According to the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, rescuers have recovered from the rubble the bodies of a couple who were killed as a result of a hostile drone strike on a residential building.
According to Kiper's data as of 9:10 a.m., 14 people were injured as a result of a night drone strike on Odesa, three of them children.
"Six wounded people remain in hospital, three of whom (including one child) are in serious condition. The others are continuing their treatment as outpatients," Kiper wrote.
Search and rescue operations are ongoing.
