On the night of June 27, russia carried out the largest air attack on the territory of Ukraine in recent times. The enemy used 371 means of air attack, the main blow was directed at the city of Starokostiantyniv in the Khmelnytskyi Region.
It was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the report, from 8:30 p.m. on June 26, the russians attacked with:
- 363 drones, including Shahed strike drones and simulator drones from the directions of Kursk, Shatalovo, Oryol, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (of which more than 200 were Shaheds);
- 2 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles from the Ryazan Oblast;
- 6 Kalibr cruise missiles from the Caspian Sea.
All available resources were involved in repelling the air attack: combat aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups and UAV countermeasure systems.
As of 9:30 a.m., the Air Forces reported 365 neutralized air targets:
- 217 – destroyed by fire,
- 148 – suppressed by electronic warfare or lost by location.
In particular:
- 211 Shaheds and other UAVs – shot down,
- 148 drones – neutralized by electronic warfare,
- 6 Kalibr missiles – destroyed.
“Direct hits were recorded in three locations. Falling fragments of downed targets were recorded in eight more areas,” the Air Forces noted.
The data is being refined. The assessment of the consequences of the attack is ongoing.
