Russia preparing large-scale summer offensive on Ukraine with support of North Korean troops – South Korean intelligence

The aggressor country russia may be preparing for a large-scale offensive on the territory of Ukraine this summer with the support of military personnel from North Korea.

Sky News reported this on Friday, June 27, citing data from the National Intelligence Service of South Korea (NIS).

The National Intelligence Service of South Korea believes that russia may be preparing for a large-scale attack on Ukraine in July or August.

South Korean member of parliament Lee Seong-kweun stated this to journalists. According to him, this is evidenced by the fact that North Korea has begun recruiting soldiers to send to russia.

"The country's National Intelligence Service (NIS) believes Russia may be readying to mount a large-scale assault against Ukraine in July or August… The NIS told a behind-closed-doors briefing for South Korean politicians that North Korea would likely send 6,000 additional military personnel to Russia in July or August,” the report says.

Sky News recalls that last week, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un received former russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu in Pyongyang.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on June 17, the Secretary of the Security Council of the aggressor state of the russian federation, Sergei Shoigu, held talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un for the second time in two weeks.

North Korean KN-23 ballistic missiles have become several times more accurate in hitting their targets thanks to the joint work of DPRK and russian specialists.
