On the night of Friday, June 27, the Kyiv Region was attacked by russian UAVs and missiles. As a result of the shelling, a local resident was injured, and residential and commercial facilities were damaged.
The head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"Air defense forces were operating in the region. Enemy targets were shot down. Unfortunately, as a result of an enemy attack in the Fastiv District, a man born in 1963 was injured. All necessary medical care was provided on the spot. He refused hospitalization," Kalashnyk said.
According to him, damage was recorded in three districts:
- private houses were damaged in the Boryspil and Fastiv Districts,
- a tire repair shop building and five cars were damaged in the Bila Tserkva District.
Critical infrastructure facilities were not damaged.
Currently, work is underway to eliminate the consequences of the attack, information about the damage is being clarified.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of Friday, June 27, russian troops launched 8 missiles and 363 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to neutralize 365 targets: 6 missiles and 211 UAVs were shot down, another 148 drones did not reach their targets (lost in location).
