Ukrainian paratroopers in the Sumy Region captured 15 russian servicemen, most of whom were soldiers of the 810th and 155th Separate Marine Brigades of the russian federation, who were particularly cruel to Ukrainian servicemen in enemy captivity.
This was reported by the Command of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"The paratroopers, together with related units, captured 15 servicemen of the russian army in the Sumy Region," the report says.
It is indicated that most of the prisoners are soldiers of the 810th and 155th Separate Marine Brigades of the russian federation. The mentioned brigades were particularly cruel to Ukrainian servicemen in enemy captivity.
In particular, in their units on the territory of the russian federation, they were subjected to inhumane treatment, psychological pressure and threats.
The prisoners were provided with the necessary medical and psychological assistance and can be used for further exchange for Ukrainian military personnel held in russian captivity.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that the advance of russian troops in the border area of the SUMY region has been stopped, and the battle line has been stabilized.
