Today, on June 24, russia struck the city of Dnipro, as a result of the shelling in the city, significant destruction of civilian infrastructure was recorded. This was reported by the mayor of the city, Borys Filatov, in Telegram.
Thus, it is reported that 14 schools and kindergartens were damaged in Dnipro, and there is also significant destruction in the private sector.
"After another hostile shelling of Dnipro, 14 schools and kindergartens were damaged. The city hospital and polyclinic were also damaged. There is significant destruction in the private sector," the mayor says.
It is also reported that one person was killed as a result of the russian attack.
"It has already been confirmed that train No. 52 Odesa - Zaporizhzhia was also hit," Filatov reported.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the aggressor country of russia struck the city of Dnipro on the afternoon of June 24, with two series of powerful explosions heard in the city. The blast wave damaged at least one multi-storey building, including the home of the Ukrainian News Agency’s journalist.
Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhii Lysak reports that the blast wave hit the Odesa-Zaporizhzhia train, passengers were injured.
